How we verify
Every number on Safe Tiles is either worked out from the rules of the game or copied from the game studio's own page or demo, with the date. This page is the routine.
1. The odds: arithmetic anyone can repeat
A Mines grid has 25 tiles. With m mines, the chance that your first click is safe is (25 − m) ÷ 25. After k safe clicks, the next one is safe with chance (25 − m − k) ÷ (25 − k). The chance of surviving k clicks in a row is those fractions multiplied together.
The fair multiplier for k clicks is 1 divided by that chance: the payout at which the game would neither win nor lose over the long run. The paid multiplier is the fair one times the game's RTP (97% for Spribe Mines), cut or rounded to the cent the way that studio's demo does it. Every table and the odds calculator use exactly this, and we compare it with the multipliers the provider's own demo shows.
2. Rules and RTP: the provider first
Order of sources, strongest first:
- The provider's rules screen inside its own demo.
- The provider's game page.
- A casino's copy of the same game, checked from an Australian connection.
Review sites and forums are never a source for a number. Each page ends with a Sources list: the address, and the date we read it.
3. Casinos: what has to be true before one is listed
- Mines (or a named version) is in the lobby when opened from an Australian IP address.
- The casino's terms accept Australian players.
- A real PayID or bank withdrawal is made and timed.
- The affiliate programme has no pattern of unpaid or changed commissions on the watchdog lists we read.
No casino has passed all four as of 29 September 2026, and none is listed.
4. What we don't claim
- We don't claim a strategy or tool changes the odds. The strategy page explains why none can.
- We don't call any online casino legal or licensed in Australia. None is.
- We don't publish other people's winnings or screenshots we can't verify.
5. Corrections
Send a correction through the contact page. If we change a figure, the "Checked" date on the page moves and the source list shows the new date.
